With Desktop Notifications, operators are made aware of any new chats, new messages or closed chats, even when they are using another application or are switched to a different tab. This way, they can work where they need to work, without worrying about any missed messages.

Desktop Notifications are easily turned on from the Administrator Console, under Settings →  Customer
